Seafarer
04:11
|
|||
I built a boat of English oak to take us out to sea
With sun and stars, wind and sail to guide our company
With spirits high for every soul and all the gallant crew
Eager for adventure and to live a life anew
We have food and water enough to last the year
We set sail with the early tide, on a morning bright and clear
And as we bid a last farewell to our native shore
I wondered if we ever would set foot on land once more
For many days we drifted on calm unchartered seas
Then our sails were full and swelling with a warm and beckoning breeze
Which brought us safe to anchor by a land I’ve never seen
With beaches that were ivory and forests that were green
Now our journey’s ended, we’ve come to rest once more
We’ll prepare the longboats to take us all to shore
And all the time I wonder, wonder if we’ll find
This life any better than the one we left behind

Get Right To It
03:11
|
|||
You can dream it, you can do it
Get over yourself and get right to it
Take the step and run ten miles
Write a book time out awhile
Look ahead don’t fall behind
The day is bright so never mind
The future is now so do not fear
Be true to yourself, keep your vision clear
Chorus: Take advice you’re not alone
We’ll cheer you on to reach your goal
Do not fret, do not cry
You have friends to help you by
You are a warrior, believe in magic
Don’t be down, don’t be so tragic
Don’t give up ,you will not fail
Doors will open, you will prevail
Our time to shine won’t last for long
So get it done, go write that song
Don’t stand in shadows, in the dark
Follow the path and make your mark
You have a dream to pursue
Many things you need to do
Just one step is all you need
Great things grow from a tiny seed
Rpt Chorus:

Who Is Love
04:08
|
|||
Did we come here for living for loving, to say goodbye
Were we sent here forgiving, for giving, to know not why
Who is love, super hero, where is love we need you now
What is love behind a mask. Does your secret hide the truth somehow?
Life is nothing but a memory, a moment that we can’t share
Trapped in time, if but only for the lonely we should care
But who is love, this super hero, where is love when we need you now
What is love behind the mask. Does your secret tell the truth somehow
Did we come here for living, for loving to say goodbye
Were we sent here forgiving for giving to know not why
But who is love this super hero. Where is love when we need you now
What is love behind the mask, will your secret tell the truth somehow

Two Ravens
03:56
|
|||
As I was walking all alone,
I heard two ravens call and mourn
One to the other did say
Where shall we go and dine today
Oh where but by yon new fallen branch
There there lies a new slain knight
No mortal kens that he lies there
But the hawk and the hound and his lady fair-o
His hound is to the hunting gone
His hawk to fetch the wild fowl home
His lady’s ta’en another mate
So me may make our dinner sweet-o
We’ll sit upon his Bonny breast bone
And we’ll pick out his Bonny grey eyes
We’ll set our claws into his yellow hair
And build our bower, it’s all blown bare-o
There are many that mourn for him
But none will know where he has gone
O’er his white bones we make them bare-o
The wind will blow for evermore
My mother hatched me from an egg
And brought me up in feathers grey
And bade me fly wherever I would
For winter would be my dying day-o
Now winter it has been and past
And all the birds are building their nests
ButI I’ll fly high above them all
And sing a song for summers sake-o

Song For Africa
05:15
|
|||
I loved your summer sun on my skin
And your blood red soil on my shoes
I was thankful that you let me in
And my love you will never lose
I loved your sunny cloudless skies
With your cold bright winters day
And rejoiced with the first summers rains
That drove the drought away
CHORUS:
Reach out and grasp the day
Not much time to laugh and play
Think on those times gone by
Made me what I am today
My thoughts return to an earlier time
With pleasures many problems few
Your endless sands and salt sea tang
And friends we both once knew
Drinking, talking in the night
Playing in the warm still breathless air
Stars can be picked out of the sky
Dawn comes pink and glowing so fair
CHORUS
Echoed thoughts of bygone days
Time to put these memories to bed
Of reckless nights and wanton ways
New horizons lay ahead
So much to do we’re not done yet
There is time to dwell on the past
Can carry a tune so no regrets
Still raise a glass, but time goes fast
CHORUS
